ARTECO took on the challenge of designing and building a customized cold storage solution for a durian exporter in Malaysia's Raub district.

Project Background

Malaysian durian exporters faced a critical challenge: maintaining the quality of Musang King durians during storage and export. After harvesting, the fruit must be placed in a -60°C cold storage within 3 hours for quick freezing, then transferred to storage facilities maintaining temperatures between -18°C and -22°C to preserve its rich flavor and sweetness.
