A leading flower grower in Yunnan province sought a solution for more controlled atmosphere storage of cut flowers before long-distance shipments across China and abroad. After thorough research, they discovered ARTECO and entrusted us with a design and construction project for a new 300-square meter refrigeration cold room near their packing hub in Kunming.

The cold room was meticulously planned to ensure precise temperature control between 0-5°C and customized gas mixtures, extending the vase life of various flowering plants during off-seasons. To enhance energy efficiency, ARTECO utilized insulated PU sandwich panels for construction.

The controlled atmosphere cold room provided the necessary environment, resulting in extended vase life for the cut flowers.
